Children are a Gift

Isn’t it amazing how often we read in the papers or watch on TV, that another child has been abused or killed. It would appear that we are powerless to protect them. We have a duty of care for these Children who are vulnerable and helpless and are in need our protection. Neglect of these precious gifts from the young age could damage them for the rest of their lives, so let’s do everything in our power to protect them.

The bible tells us that, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3.” 

We also read in the bible that Jesus Blessed Little Children

Bible passage

People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16
