Some things are worth holding onto whilst others are worth letting go of. Friendship is worth holding onto, but junk in the home is defiantly worth getting rid of, unless it happen to be an antique. It’s worth holding on to some relationship, whilst you’re better of ending others.
Jesus selected some people to be his best friend, and some of them spend almost three years going round from village to village preaching. In the end they all let go of him and went their own way. Jesus didn’t try to hold on to them, he let them go, knowing that they will soon return back to him. There is an old saying, “If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don’t, they never were.” Jesus knew that his disciples were his and he trusted them to make the right choose, which they did.
Bible Reading
Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” Matthew 26:31-32
Sometime we just have to lose something to find it
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. Matthew 16:25
