New Life

Spring is time of new life. It’s time to let go of the past and embrace the new. The things that are collapsing and dying must make way for the new. We must also realize that the old seed must die in order for the new shoot to grow from them.

It is always exciting when you see the Lord’s hand at work. Our hope is somehow renewed as we see, before our very eyes, the evidence of God’s promise and the obedience of His creation fulfil His command to reproduce after their own kind. Genesis 1:11

Spring is also seen as a time of growth and new life for Christians, it’s the season of renewal at Easter; when Christ rose again after his Crucifixion. Jesus desire was for the Christians to reproduce after their own kind. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Mark 16:15

Also, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Every Christian’s desire should be to share the good news with others, so that they too could have eternal life just like themselves. So go ahead and reproduce by sharing the good news.
