Bhangra - The Bhangra Captain is back! Remember the dance-floor classic Captain
Bhangra Da, a phenomenon which swept the bhangra industry by storm. Daljit Mattu brings his latest offering called…‘Pind De Munde’. The stylish singer once again captivates you with his unique vocals and yes….as with his previous hits you can hear Daljit Mattu doing his usual high pitch screams. A great dance track which will keep you entertained for a long time yet, check out this song at N0.8 this week. A track worthy of listening, no matter which day of the week…(pind de) Munde – Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday or Friday.
Bollywood - Love does make one go loopy! A profound statement but true, a brand new entry this week…‘Shirt Da Button’ by the eloquent Sonu Nigam from the forthcoming comedy film, Kya Super Cool Hain Hum. This song is about a man topped-up with ‘LOVE’ who expresses his affectionate feelings by imagining becoming various parts of a women’s everyday materialist belongings, from a hair clip to a ‘Shirt Da Button’! A fabulous song which has been wisely put together by music directors – Sachin & The Meet Bros. Yes, that strange feeling called ‘LOVE’ makes one foolishly go around the bend as the old saying goes, ‘only fools rush in’….Kya Super Fool Hain Hum.
Fusion - Folk’s the King of melodies is back, after an exile from Indian music the great
Kumar Sanu has been strutting his stuff first with an awesome song from the hit movie, Rowdy Rathore called ‘Chamak Challo Chel Chabeli’ and now he has just released his private Hindi music album titled K Tere Bin. This album certainly has entertainment value stamped all over it as it re-capitulates the hit 90′s era of filmi music with a touch of fusion. We have decided to feature the song titled ‘Aapse Milke’ from the album. This song is a delightful soulful duet which is constructed well with newcomer Mistu who sounds a lot like a young version of the living legend Lata Ji. Check out this song at N0. 7 this week….Kumar Sanu Ji…we truly have Mistu!
Gospel - How strong are you? Do you consider yourself to be a physically strong person? I
am a regular gym goer and commonly I get interrupted by a muscle bound guy asking a similar gym based question…‘how much can you lift mate’? My reply to the question is always…. ‘not as enough as you’. The same guy will be doing his repetitions and just towards the end of his set he begins to struggle with the weight and anxiously shouts out…CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A SPOT! (a phrase used to assist to ease the weight). It takes heart to aid a person who has been showing off in the gym who sarcastically brands you as a weakling…How strong is your heart today? A brand new gospel song this week titled ‘Mazbut Mera Dil Hain’ by Danny Choranji at N0.7.
