The Power of Spoken Words

Our mouth is a dangerous tool, which can work for or against us, depending on how we use it. Unlike our nose or eyes which perform one function, but our mouth is not meant for eating alone it is also an instrument for mapping the course of our life.

The Bible says “A man is filled with what comes from his mouth and is nourished by what his lips provide. The tongue has power over life and death, those who like speaking will eat its fruit” and “The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Proverbs 18:20-21 & Matthew 12:35-37

The question is how many of us understand this principle? The first book of the bible tells us that, the whole world was created by the spoken words of God. Just like Gods spoken word there is cause and effect. We can speak positive word to create positive atmosphere or negative and destructive one. Be careful what you say.
