Young children are incredibly curious, permanently asking questions about the world around them. They often ask the question why. Children will never stop being fascinated by the things around them. One of their favourite questions is why — we may not always have the answers, hence we need to know how to satisfy their curiosity by giving them accurate answers to their questions.
The following are few questions that your children may ask without warning.
Q What is air made of?
A Air is made out of mostly nitrogen (about 78%) and oxygen (about 21%).
Q How many bones does the human body have?
A Human body has 206 bones
Q Why is the moon sometimes out during the day?
A The moon is just as likely to be visible during the day as it is at night — it orbits Earth independently of the sun. When its orbit brings it to your part of the sky during daylight hours, it is illuminated by the sun, and we can see it.
Q Why is the ocean salty?
A Rain picks up minerals as it runs from the ground to streams. This water is then deposited in the ocean and stays there for a long time.
Q How many hairs do humans have on their head?
A You have more than 100,000 on your head, and lose 50 to 100 each day.
Jesus also loved to talk with the children, he said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there. Matthew 19:14-15 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven Matthew 18:3. St Peter also tells us desire Gods word, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:2.
The only way our children grow in knowledge is by asking why, and the only way we are going to grow spiritually, is by asking why Jesus left heaven and came to earth and suffered at the hands of man.
All of our presenters are going to be covering the subject throughout the day
