We are slaves to whatever controls us. Some of us cannot control our desires, thoughts, emotions, actions, etc., which means we are under their control. Slavery is anything that controls you. Drugs are simply one of the most obvious forms of addiction in our society. Every form of addiction is bad, regardless of what it is. Drug addiction is the easiest one to blame all our ills. Some of the addictions remain hidden and underground, when they are un-covered the society is shocked.
Some people think that just because they are in position of absolute power, they can do anything they wish. They are so addicted to power they care nothing for the rights of others.
