Helping, Motivating and Encouraging Others

Very often it seems that life is only made up of things to be anxious about. Life has many disappointments for all of us … Death, Illnesses, Betrayals, Tragedies, And Feelings of Worthlessness, Loneliness, Never Ending Debts and Despair. Sometimes life can seem so very bleak, and so many times we tend to sink into self-pity, that’s the time we need someone to Motivate and Encourage us, if that don’t happen we will continue to sink deeper and deeper into despair.  Continue reading

Jesus Was Rejected

Today we are talking about the Rejected and suffering Jesus,   It wasn’t easy for Jesus to complete his task as the Suffering Servant. He bore the guilt of all the sins ever committed — the horrible murders, the unfaithfulness, child abuse, brutal rapes and much much more and the excruciating physical pain of the crucifixion besides. Jesus didn’t feel anger towards us but love, even in his death he was thinking about the thief on the cross next to him. And his dying words were father forgive them.

We can all respond to what Jesus did on the cross, one of two ways. We can choose to ignore Jesus, by saying it as nothing to do with us, its just history, or we can respond in faith, to put our trust in Jesus and to walk in his footsteps. Continue reading
