There is a song by Abba, “Money, money, money, Must be funny, In the rich man’s world. Money, money, money. Always sunny, In the rich man’s world, Aha-ahaaa, All the things I could do, If I had a little money, It’s a rich man’s world”.
Many of us think like the song, only if I had little money the things I can do with it. The problem with that sort of thinking is, that once we have some money, we want more. We are never satisfied regardless of how much wealth we have. The simple Truth is “Money is a good servant but a bad master. Let’s have a look at what King Solomon says about the subject. “Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owner except to feast his eyes on them? The sleep of a labourer is sweet, whether he eats little or much, but the abundance of a rich man permits him no sleep. Continue reading
