There is a saying, ‘You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family’. That’s only partly true, because not everyone continue to live with their biological family and some people don’t even know who their biological parents are. Some children have made a conscious decision, as to who they would like to live with. Therefore to some extent you can choose your family. Some things you can choose, but others you cannot, so you have to try to make the best of what you have where you have no choice.
Do you wish you could choose your family or are you happy with the family you have? There is another family that you can belong to, it’s the family of God also know as Christianity. To be part of this family you have to be born into it, by your own and not by your parents or someone else’s decision.
