I don’t if you’re introverts or extrovert, but as Christians we are encouraged to look after the interests of others. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching”. ….. “Carry each other’s burdens,”… “And let us consider *one another in order to stir up love and good works”. Hebrews 10:23-25: Galatians 6:2 and Heb. 3:24 

We should all try our best to meet other people and start Socializing or Fellowshipping with them, by doing this, we will build each other up in our faith and relationships.

If Jesus needed the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we too need his help and guidance too.  The Holy Spirit is necessary for salvation of everyone who is living on the Earth. The indwelling and infilling of Holy Spirit is the preparation for toils and joys in life on earth. St. Luke tells us that Jesus went into the Temple and read from the book of Isaiah, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19.

It was very important for Jesus to be filled with the Holy Spirit in all aspects of his life, and if we want to be effective in life and in God’s work, it’s equally important for us to be fill with the same Holy Spirit.

Bhangra - The rude boy of Punjabi music holds the N0.1 spot this week with the hit song ‘Patole’, of course I am referring to Mika Singh. Mika has catapulted out of the shadows of his brother Daler Mehndi and has become a world wide phenomenon. Mika is proving to be a success not only in Bollywood but also in Punjabi music, he is continuing to musically paint a new picture everytime….Hat’s off to you Mika-angelo! A brand new entry this week. D-Sarb is back with ‘Vang Nachdi’….this young man continues to wow the masses with thumping bhangra tunes again and again. D-Sarb is certainly gaining the respect from fellow colleagues….in-fact, it’s more of a case of…Ji Sarb Ji.

Bollywood -  The film Bittu Boss is bossing the charts this week with ‘Kaun Khenda’, a romantic duet which is performed eloquently by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Karishma Kapoor makes a long awaited return to the box office with Dangerous Ishq. Has the ‘Karishma’ gone from Karishama Kapoor or does she still have what it takes to be a top actress? If the film proves to be a disappointment, then I suppose it’s back to the married life for Karishma Ka-very- poor. In regards to the music from the film, absolutely astonishing…Check out ‘Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua’ at No.6 by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Tulsi Kumar, a must for all Karishma Kapoor fans.

Fusion -  Arif Lohar sits comfortably at the No.1 spot this week with the hit song, ‘Jind Kookdi Main’. This classically mild qawal is genrating quite a buzz in the music world with its melody and Arif’s high pitch vocals. Attah Ullah Khan is back with ‘Nighahen Raasta Dekhan’, for the very first time his son is featured on the song. Sanwal sounds great! Though his voice is more suited to ghazal he still performs the song with great realisation. Attah Ullah Khan Ji, a successful debut by Sanwal, or should I say your Son-is-well on the way!

Gospel -  We live in a generation where loved ones make decisions to leave and never come
back. Many have lost relationships with their partners, mothers, fathers and even good friends when they have decided to go astray on a different path. One thing is for sure….Jesus Christ said he is coming back….and guess what folks….he will be coming back! Surjit Gakhal remembers the words of the Lord, a new entry this week…‘Aaja Masih Aaja’ at No.6.

Do you wish you could choose your family or are you happy with the family you have? There is another family that you can belong to, it’s the family of God also know as Christianity. To be part of this family you have to be born into it, by your own and not by your parents or someone else’s decision.

This is what Jesus said, “…  To all who did receive him[Jesus], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. ….. Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. ….. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”  John 1:12-13, John 3:5-6 and John 3:16-17

Have the courage to make the decision to become part of God’s family, let go of anything that may hold you back and surround yourself with people who believe in Jesus and are part of his family

We would all like to know the answer this question. There is general purpose in life which we all know about and there is high purpose or calling also. Many of us just talk about our job, or our daily responsibilities, or even our long-term goals. There is a real reason why we’re here at all — the very reason we exist.

If we want to discover our true purpose in life, we must first empty your mind of all the false purposes we’ve been taught from year dot. The real purpose in life is to take our instructions from our maker. The maker always knows the purpose he/she designed it for. It’s also true of us, our maker knows why he created us and why we are here.

… Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:24-26

Jesus said, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:9-11

There are two things we can learn from the above passages. 1. We must lay down our life for Jesus and live a new life in him. 2. Jesus wants to give full life, no half measures. So however you discover your purpose in Jesus, its my prayer that you will discover it soon.
